Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Dietitian for an acute care facility in Danville, IL. Qualified candidate will be a registered dietitian - RD or Dietitian eligible for for RD certification. The Clinical Dietitian directs nutritional care for patients by providing nutrition screening, assessment and education for both inpatients and outpatient services. Other responsibilities include ordering and monitoring of nutrition supplements. The Clinical Dietitian participates in department and hospital committees and provides community education/presentations when required. Position schedule rotates weekend and holiday coverage with other RD (every other weekend). This position collaborates with other departments to provide excellent care to our patients. Requirements |
Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction. Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: None Basic Functional Experience Required: No previous work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics required + registry eligible.Position Posting Title: Clinical Dietitian 1
